OverView of Bodiya
BODIYA: My small beautiful village is situated on bank of the "GAGADIO RIVER". Most people of the village are farmers. Monsoon farming is the main crop. Most villagers have very little education. One OR two members of each family live in the Ahmedabad/Surat, their profession is diamond cutting.
During hot summer days playing with friends on the river front and swimming in the deep water of the Gagadio River provides warmth pleasure. After play; eating Water Melon, Muskmelon and Engenia under shadow of the Peaple Tree and Nimb Tree on the bank of the river is glorious, golden and happiest moment of the life. This is the reason relative's kids love to come and stay at Bodia. We love people and people love us.
There is a Temple (CHORO) of Lord Rama situated in down town of the village. Also, there is a small temple of Loard Hanuman and MA Khodiyar in heart of the village; and very beautiful and ancient temple of Lord Shiva is situated at out skirt of the village.
It is wonderful to see a gorgeous/beautiful scene when the village gets surrounded by the river flood water during heavy monsoon rain.
People in this village are very united, kind, cooperative, faithful, loyal and respective. People believe in peace.
