Government degree college built in 30-december-2021.The college is affiliated to the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar.
With the aim of providing higher education at low cost to the children of the area, Cabinet Minister Aruna Chaudhary inaugurated the Government Degree College built at a cost of Rs 13.50 crores in Sidhpur village.
The subject areas of BA or Bachelor of Arts,Typical BCom subjects include Accountancy, Financial Systems, Taxation, Business Management, Financial Accounting, Business Economics, Company Law, Cost Accounting and others.The college has large, beautiful campus which houses a well stocked library, an auditorium, seminar halls and canteens.There is an open air theatre for cultural activities.The college has a large ground lying a few hundred meters away from the campus.
