Jadaganapura Villge got this name because in earlier day A snake god called Muneswara with a long tail was residing here. Everyday  evening 6pm  he is sitting for meditation and God has long hairs in local(kannada) language is "jade" so this village becomes Jadaganapura. Even today all residents of this village and the peoples who born and bought up in this village and residing out of this village also worship this god Lord Muneswara swami and they hope Lord Muneswara swami was still watching the village. Recently a small temple was built here all the communities living in this village were performing to god without any discrimination or bias.

Main occupation of this village is agriculture main crafts are sugarcane, paddy, Ragi. As day to day agriculture becomes non profitable occupation, majority of young people attracted by urban life and were settled in Bangalore.

Even this village is small with respect to population and area is rich enough in education, peoples who hailing from this village were becomes Engineers, Software professionals, Teachers and some peoples serving in state and central govt as well as local bodies.

As Only Hindus were living in this village all Hindu festivals will be celebrating. Main community festivals are Makara sankranthi, Sri Rama navami, Ganeshchouthi and pitrupaksh(mahalaya amvasye)
Local festivals are urina maramma Festival and Chamundamma festival.
