Tiruninriyur is a very beautiful town where rich and loving people live, the surrounding area is very green and it is a pleasant place for people to live.Here we have an excellent volleyball team led by Mr. Vanchinathan who has been protecting and training this team for many years.Every year new good sportsmen are introduced under his tutelage and trained by him and recruited in Southern Railway and Tamil Nadu Police through volleyball. , and also the famous sri mariyamman temple near to the bus stop, Every year a very grand festival is held here in the month of April and Dimithi is also held where more than ten thousand people from different places throng to witness this Dimithi festival and Thiruther Utsavam.This ten-day festival of Dimithi is held year after year with much fanfare.Apart from that, there is Pitariyamman Temple, Ayyanar Temple, Kanni Temple and the world famous Shiva Temple, which is visited by foreigners every year.And here there is Panchayat Union Primary School Veterinary Hospital Primary Health Centre,The town is accessible to the public as it is located on the Chennai Mayiladuthurai National Highway and Vaitheeswaran temple on the northern side of the apparition connecting Mayladuthurai on the south side and the eastern side connecting Kavripoompattinam.
