About and History Of Songra

In our village, there is a caste among Hindus and our village is a symbol of unity. The history of our village was first of all after 1947. Soran Singh and Sher Singh, also known as Mukadam were followed by three sons named Nohbat Singh Mahendra Singh and Jaj Singh, Nohbat Singh became the head of this village, later Thakur Mahendra Singh m was the head of this village till 1982, followed by Karan Singh Baghel from 1982 to 1994 for two terms followed by Bitta Devi wife of Thakur Kanchi Singh and Satyawati w/o Babu urf Bhola Sharma then Maharaj Singh Baghel's wife Chandra Prabha from 1999 to 2004 and later Thakur Jaj Singh's son Thakur Dev Pal Singh from 2005 to 2010, then Naubat Singh Diwakar's wife Sarvesh Devi then Laxman Singh Baghel's wife Pushpa Devi till 2020 and now Maharaj Singh Baghel is currently village Pradhan since May 2021.
