This Abdul Bhodi was a general of Emperor Akbar. Now it is one of the villages of Jalalke. Where the descendants of Mehraj's brother Gharaj live. Whose genealogy is as follows:-Bairar - Paur - Bairsi - Kacha Rao - Baho - Sanghar - Bariyam - Gharaj(The descendants of the Gharaj family live in all the villages of Jalal, Hamirgarh, Bhodipura, Koir Singh Wala, Gurusar, Kesar Singh Wala, Ramuwala, Akalia, etc. Bairar's sons were Dul and Paur. The elder brother Dul had thrown out the younger brother Paur from home. His children wandered here and there in poverty for many years. When the time of the Maharaj came, they lived in Bhodipura, Jalala. After the Maharaj, his grandson Pakho lived here. Pakho's sons were Mohan and Humbal. Both of them settled in Bhodipura from Bidowal and Dul's children settled in Kakhanwali and Ablu. In Samvat 1864 B.E., Raja Jaswant Singh Nabha acquired this village from Maharaja Ranjit Singh, who had taken it from the people of Kotkapura. Thus, this village of 'Barraki' came into the state of Nabha. S. Hazara Singh of the village is a famous poet. His work 'Maharani Jind Kaur' was very popular. Pandit Megh Raj Ji of this village was one of the famous poets of his time. "The Dera in the village was established by Sant Sham Singh Ji who was a disciple of Pandit Veer Singh Ji. No information is available about his birth. His disciple was Sant Sobha Singh Ji. He was born in Khosa, Moga district. He was a good scholar and physician. He had no disciples. Therefore, after him, Sant Sundar Singh Ji's disciple Mahant Deva Singh Ji was appointed. Later, Mahant Santa Singh Ji was appointed. He passed away in 1975.Facilities like government senior secondary school, primary school, public school, bank, grain market, water works, Aganwadi center etc.
