Pandit Megh Raj Ji of this village was one of the famous poets of his time. "The Dera in the village was established by Sant Sham Singh Ji who was a disciple of Pandit Veer Singh Ji. No information is available about his birth. His disciple was Sant Sobha Singh Ji. He was born in Khosa, Moga district. He was a good scholar and physician. He had no disciples. Therefore, after him, Sant Sundar Singh Ji's disciple Mahant Deva Singh Ji was appointed. Later, Mahant Santa Singh Ji was appointed.
