The village KANTHAPUR PATNA is about 180yrs old ,and was named followed by the name of adorable god Nilakantheswardev, and the temple of lord Nilakantheswardev is situated eastern side of the village, the ancient temple was ruined, only SIBALINGA was buried under soil, on 1983 again old LINGA was recovered from soil and again the temple was built on same place by the villagers.
