Gullanpete is so traditional village that is existed prior of before 1800, it was expanded by the children's of dargah Hazrat Dada Mohammed Ali Shah, his elder son Abdul Gafoor Shah Alias Dade saheb contributed much to expand and developed the village and expanded inheritance to it.Gullanpet is very famous for its peace and harmony and traditional culture where majority of Muslim community and the Hindu community lives like brothers and the occupation primarily of its of coffee plantation pepper and nursery plantation. Majority of its population is literate and rich in its exhibits.
