Sarsiya charnan was first class jagir under jahazpur province ruled by jagmal sisodiya, The jagir was given to mehkaran mehru, he was state poet in jagmal's court and also was renowned in akbar's court, The Mehkaran Mehru was also known as Jada Ji, and his descendants came to be known as Jadawat. During that time, they administered over 24 thikanas (jagirs) Here is the story:-In February 1572, during the coronation of Maharana Pratap, Jagmal Sisodia stayed in Ajmer and Mehkaran ji went to Delhi and on the strength of his poetic talent, he got the pargana of Jahazpur for Jagmal ji and refused the emperor's request for himself saying that I will not take anything from anyone other than my patron. Due to excessive insistence, he demanded a Muslim Harijan. Because of Mehkaran ji, Jagmal Sisodia also had a good influence in the court of Delhi.After some time, Akbar gave Sirohi to Jagmal Ji. So Jagmal Ji went to Sirohi and while leaving Jagmal Ji gave the pargana of Jahazpur to Jada Ji (Mahakaran) saying that Jahazpur has been got by you so now you should look after it and enjoy it. Jada Ji stayed in Jahazpur for some time but during the war of Dattani, for helping Jagmal Ji, he again called the sons of Jagmal Ji and after handing over Jahazpur, went to Sirohi to Jagmal Ji and showed valor in the war of Dattani. In this way Jada Ji displayed generosity and bravery.
