There was a king Raja Veer Bhan Singh Gangwar who ruled khinmini state from 1600-1640 approximately. Due to the name of the king, it was later called Veerbhanpur. The ruins of his palace still exist. Later it was ruled by lumberdars till the independence of the country. Then he also came to be known as Muqaddam. Among them were principally Lambardar Kunwar Singh Gangwar, his successor Rajendra Singh Gangwar. This royal family also participated in national movement. They participated in Quit India Movement. They It was the people of the royal family who donated and land and built the main temples at Khinmini. Every year this royal family donates money for organizing Annual Festivals, Melas (fairs) and Urs.  Link roads were also constructed to connect the village with Kayamganj and Nabganj.
