Khadur Sahib, Village was founded some 600 years ago, in the Maajha Region, by the Khaira Jatt Zamindars. All the Khaira Jatts, trace their ancestry back to this village of Khadur Sahib and neighbouring of Nagoke. First Khaira Jatt of this village to adopt the Sikh Faith was, Bhai Jodh Khaira, who became a Sikh of First Sikh Guru, Guru Nanak Dev Jee. During the time of Second Sikh Guru Sahiban Jee, Guru Angad Dev Jee, the rest of Khaira Jatts adopted the Sikh Faith. Chaudhri Mehma Khaira, the Landlord and chief of the village and his devout Sikh wife Mai Bharai (Veeran Bai), all had adopted the Sikh Faith.The Sikh Gurus, Guru Amar Das Jee, Guru Ram Dass Jee, Guru Arjan Dev Jee, Guru Hargobind Sahib Jee, Guru Har Rai Sahib Jee, and Guru Tegh Bahadur Jee, visited Khadur Sahib. During the Sikh Misl Period, Khadur Sahib, was in the Ahluwalia Sikh Misl Territory. Not that far from Khadur Sahib, was the Capital of the Ahluwalia Sikh Misl, the town of Fatehabad.
