Kadobahal is a village which was founded in 1822 by Chakradhar Dash . The main deties worshipped in this village are Madanmohan, Grampati, Demulien and Champabahalien . There is a legend behind the idol of Lord Madanmohan. This idol was discovered inside the trunk of a Neem tree whike it was being cut down. During the reign of Mandhata Dash a kutcha Jagannath temple was founded Later in 1952 his descendant Haradhan Dash founded the present concrete temple for Lord Madanmohan and Jagannath Balabhadra& Subhadra.There are also temples of Shakambhari, Krushnaguru, Durga, Saraswati, Mahadev, Hanuman . There are two Bhagabat Tungis also, one in Odia para and another in Bhaenapara. There is a big water tank spread in 51 acres which was created by Chakradhar Dash and nearly 13 small ponds in this village . There is a government PHC which provides primary health care to nearby 20 villages.Also there is a private nursing home which provides general surgical facilities .There is veterinary hospital, a co operative society, a revenue office , a post office , a government primary school, a high school, a junior college and a private English medium school in this village . A weekly vegetable market is held every Wednesday in the RMC market yard . Various festivals are observed here throughout a year .Gobardhan Puja observed here is well known in this locality. We feel proud that Bipin Bihari Dash of our village was able to be the first MLA of our Attabira constituency . We also feel proud for Daya Meher , Vishnu bhakta Meher and Girigobardhan Meher as the national award achiever in Sambalpuri saree.
