Koothappan vagayara kallars  originally migrated from Sivangai dist Thirumalai kovil area near Kallarathinipatti in vellalur Nadu and Singappan vagayara kallars originally migrated from kilakkunadu village Singamangalam,Kalasamangalam which is newly named Thondaiman Pudukottai. Navinipatti is Head of the village. This panchayat consists of Navinipatti,Koothappanpatti.North Navinipatti.N.kovilpatti.N.perumalkovilpatti and Kotta medu.(sathiyapuram).Dr. K.Raja pranmalai form koothappan vagayara and Mr.Rajapandi IRS from Singappan vagayara are the first postgraduate of this village.
