Sathla village is situated in Parikshitgarh Block of Meerut District, Uttar Preadesh. The village is mainly consist of Muslim Pathan Tribe, divided in different clans. In  1405  the village was founded  by the  Pathan Tribe 'Sherwanis'. Till now, this village is known for the courageous gesture of pathan community

 

Sathla Village is established since 1405 and there is a chawani named tikola, the commander of that chawhami was malik Mohd Khitaab Khan .He was not But he was From a place called ghati Sherwani in Afghanistan. There is a place called mahipur.he came from there.

And he used to be a commander in the army of Abdaal  Gilzai used to be the Ameer .In those times .,Abdal Gilzai fought against  Taimur lank .so from Tikolagarh Malik Mohd Khitaab Khan  settled in sathla .he had two sons.His two sons now live In sathla who are Called Sherwanis .the people who are Called Sherwani are the children of these two sons In sathla .there is a long history behind it

Satha village have seen many landlords but their is one who is known for his kind heatness , justice and 

 

 bravery  .I'm talking about Janab Hakeem Samiullah Khan sahab  (zameedar Sathla )he was from sherwani Tribe. A 'sherwani Pathan . Mainy village people call him 'hakeem Ji' because he was also a great physician/hakeem of his time. He was a great landlord of his time.

Hakeem Ji Great great great grandfather established both sathla village and Agwanpur village near Meerut City Mawana.
