People have also taken part in independence revolts. Mehar Singh Kachhwaha : Resident of Kuralsi, Distt. Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh; Took part in the rebellion against British rule in 1857. Captured by the British and executed on the Gallows in 1857.
