Thikana Jatiyawas was stablished by the thakur Jai Singh Akherajot he was the son of tiwari thakur Akheraj Ji and He first got thikana tiwari , 2nd thikana khedapa 3rd got khichan 4th bhawanda 5th got kotwali bhaisher 6th got dhundiyadi 7th kutri bhaisher n 8th got jatiyawas village in his jagir by the Maharaja of marwar Ajit singh. He and his family were the great warriors. In the history of rajputana He fighted the famous battle of ahemdabad in 1787. His grandfather thakur veer kesar singh akherajot was the senapati of the battalion of ahemdabad battle and he sacrificed is life in the battle. After the death of thakur shubkaran singh his bhawar jodh singh handled the jagir of thikana jatiyawas. In year 1811 he fighted a battle between nagur - merta with dhikaniya and won the battle and was injured badly after few months he died. Thakur jodh singh akherajot had two sons 1 thakar umaid singh and 2 thakur jorawar singh akherajot. Thakur jorawar singh was the elder son of late thakur jodh singh he had the jagir of th thikana.Thikana Jatiyawas is situated 51 KM from Jodhpur on Jodhpur Pipar City Road. A Historical Court was built by Rajpurohit community (linage of Late Jai Singh son of Akheraj Ji Dalpatot ) in leadership of Thakur Bheek Singh Rajpurohit around 1950.
