Papakudi is Village in Sivaganga, This is a Zamin villages. Saravan Servai was the first Zamindar . Orginally Saravan Servai belongs to Athikad Thekkur was under Ministrial service with then Sivaganga King. When Papkudi was under Sivanga , There was a brahmin priest used maintain on behalf of Sivganga Kings. Once that Preist had an illicit affair with a Dalit women which came to light with an issue out of that affair. The priest disappeared feeling of shame.The King awarded pattayam to Saravan Servai to maintain the village and collect tax. Later he became Zamindar during British rule. The legacy of Saravan Servai still lives in the Village , Sivagangai and Trichy.
