Neepathurai is famous for the Goddess Chennamma Temple and Lord Venkatramana Temple. The Goddess is in the midst of the River Pennar and now only, the concrete passage was made to approach the Deity, who is in the middle of the river with very small hills, adorned by the Goddess. Many people all over Tamilnadu and Karnataka visit this temple for Family Deity Festivals. I am one among them and feel proud of visiting regularly to this Holy place.
