Patara is a small and beautiful village.It is very special as there are two temples one is Shivji mandir and another is Raghunathji .Both the temples are adjaecent to each other.Most of the villagers depend on farming lands.There is a small upper primary Govt school.The village is close to Nilgiri Railway Station.
There is a pond near the temples.Every morning people do pujas by chanting mantras in the temple.The education has made the village special.Noe a days many of the villagers are working outside.During holi they come to village .There is no politics in the village.
