Marathi is local language here .every year festival of god named Jatra on the day of hanuman jayantee. hasanapur is 12 km distance from taluka shevgaon and 77 km  from Ahmednagar andoloated on shevgaon nagalwadi road. Govt. buses and private vehicles are also available. climate is cool, dry and fresh.There is one primary and one secondary school in village. The village is not developed very well. There is lack of awareness in villagers. Most of the people are sugarcane workers and spend their half of the year outside the village for livehood. Most of the villagers belongs to Vanjari caste.
