Nachipuram village is mostly populated by people not very much educated. cultivation of paddy,sugarcane,groundnut, ulundu are some of the items depending upon the rains and availability of ground water. it is a panchayat governed village. "ASEFA" is a social organisation that help most of the downtrodden in the village. presently for example sweet drinking mineral water is provided to all peopple of this village and to nearby villages at a cost of Rs.6/-(six) per 20 liters bottle (what a benovelance !!). There are two private buses shuttling this village from Uthiramerur (6 KM). There are proper roads to connect this village to places like VEDANTHANGAL, MADHRANTAKAM, There is a fine and spacious Shridi Sai Baba temple built beutifully in white marbles 1.5 km from this village. I am a resident recently constructed my house and have a garden of alphoso, banganapalli, sapota, sweet lemon and amla trees. Though I am an Iyengar, I am in the middle of different castes and religions. What if, life time of people is very short compared to the existence of this universe!-Raghavan Iyengar.
