Nandol is one of the main center of brahmin caste.mainly of audichya sahastra brahmins.-siddhpur{patan dist.}-nandol{near dehgam;gandhinagar dist.}-mudeti{sabarkantha dist.}This are the main three centres of brahmin community. nandol is said as a nandpuri(mini-kashi). there are five hundred houses of dave families. Most of the brahmins from here settled to all over the world. all are in high post officers since 1950 as in government of guj. And government of india both.the kuldev(god) of dave families are shivji mahadev(twelve jyotirling) the kuldevi{godess} of dave families are maa ashapuri.{pimplav;nadiyad dist.}The gotra of dave family is bhargav gotra{the sons of bhargav rushi} the ved of dave families is yajurved.
