Jagiapada is situated 12 KM from Athgarh the nearest town.This village is mix with ancient and modernism. Raghunathpurpatna, Gholapur, Gopibalabhpur, Somapada, Krushnapur&Kantapahara are near by villages. These all villages are depended by its daily vegetable market&daily household items market for marketing. Cental Government medical for BIDI worker also available in this village,from 60 KM radios all designated worker and their family get benefit for free of cost health service from central government under Labour&Welfare Minister. Their children also get student scholarship annual every year.This village coming under Badabhui panchayat& Athgarh constituency area.This village has two schools one is Jagiapada UPME Nodal School under Odisha Government and anotherone is Aurobindo school which is semi goverment and it was formed from charity by some well known people and govt. Village God Raghunth"s temple situated middle of our village& Maa Adishakti temple situaded at entrance oh the village. Jagiapada name comes BABA JAGYENSWAR MAHADEV. Mostlyall festival celebrate in this village but LAXMIPUJA celebration is mostly attraction in this area, its celebrate for 7 days. Most of the people depend on Bidi and Cultivation.
