kankaria is a small village on the river of ambika. it has its own mosque, madrasa and primary school. the river ambika has a strong bridge so people and vehicles can cross to go to jogwar, kangway and kunkotar. there are other two villages boria and sambe which are connected with kankaria. it has a population of 400 with mixed communities. some pf thew villages over the years have migrated to south africa, england and usa. the main livelihood of the villagers is agriculture.
