Kolhua Thikha
There is combination of two village Kolhua & Thikha. the name has been given by english man prior to 1947. when english man was ruler in india. Once the were came to village for collecting tax from villager. But villagers of kolhua were very rigid they could not give tax easily. ther for he named kolhua. before this name of Kolhua & Thikha was jagdish pur Vishnupur.
This is very small and nice village in sheowhar district , it has near about 1500 people.
Most of the people in this village are dependent on agriculture based occupation.
Near about 40% people stay outside the state due to there profession , business education ,
there are more than 6 cast in the village like Rajpoot ,lohar, etc. there is near abou 50 family belonging to chandel bans which is mainly know as Chanau jati in the village , there standard of living is best among all cast. they have Knowledge, Power, Education Money and Land.
Basically they are Main Rajpoot . they arrived from Madhyapradesh and they are wansaj of Maharanapratap.
All the people of this village are very simple, Honest & Educated. they are still struglling for there right . many students from this village are migrate for there education purpose. they are pursuing like CA, Medical, general compition, Railway, etc.
There are 3 spritual places, loke Bramha sthan near by middle school, Khanjan Devi near by kola nadi and which mainly situated in the land (khet) of Kapil dev singh & Ram pratap singh.and Maharani mandir in middle of gaon .
there are four way for entering in village one from the side of Singhorwa chowk, which is linked with Sitamarhi district , Second from Thikha gaon which is linked from Sheowhar district, third from Hadisar gaon which is in west of village, and last from the side of mathawa gaon which is in east of village.
Main fastival of this village are Holi, Diwali, Chhath pooja , Samachakwa, Satuan, Pakheo Khan (only for Ox animal)
Main dishes of village is- BhatDal, Roti, Sabji, Papad, Salad ,Dahi,Khichari, Bhuja etc.
