The name Hiwarda is forming by the people mid 1902, when part this village from other village named Patsangavi. Hiwarda is a small village in Bhoom taluka. The population of this village is nearly about 1500-2000 peoples. Hiwarda village rewarded by "MAHATMA GANDHI TANTA MUKT YOJANA" in year 2010-2011. The prize of 1Lack rupees is provided by S.P. of Osmanabad district. The head of the "TANTA MUKT GOAN YOJNA SAMITI" Mr. Shastri Shivaji Munde work hardly for this yojna with the help of all villagers. Farm is main occupation of this village, so many people are farmer.
The culture of the village is at the time of summer season in month April , the festival of "Kalashtami" is perform by villagers via. playing lazims , everyone playing lazim at that time. At that time the Jatra of "Tembi Aai" is going on.
