Padma is a historical village, the village is inhabited by almost all the cast, all villagers contribute in developing the village. In the middle of the village chowk which is next to the pond, which is right in front of the Durga Temple and Hanuman temple in the beauty of this village four moon appears, the pond was constructed our own ancestors duaraa is currently dedicated to Durga temple. There is a two Govt. Primary School, Government Middle School, Govt. high school as well two junior level Private schools (Sharda Public School & Tagore Academy) with a Madarsa for muslim Community in this village. It also has an Library and a branch of Uttar Bihar Gramin Bank. This is also the land of our ancestors and the same student in the same school for the summer, Hu seems amazing in itself. The village has a chowk named Padma Chowk, a well maintained market place which has numbers of Medical Stores, Garments Stores, Tailoring Shops, Kirana Stores, Book Stores, Saloons, Mobile Markets, Carpentres Shops, Tent House Seva, Hardware Stores, Hotels with delicious Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and a mood freshener Tea. The famous shops are, Rajan Vastralay, Maa Laxmi Sweets, Patanjali Store, Kamal Pustak Kendra, Aman Readymade, Pravin Mobile, Kapil Mobile and many more. Padma has a huge market place in comparison with neighbors territory. The village has lots of well qualified and highly educated youths who is serving day and night (either they are at home or away from home) for the progress of village under their olders valuable supervision. As per our ancestors story the name of the village is on the name of queen Padmawati. The residence of the queen was on the northern part of the village near Indo-Nepal international border. So many mythological stories are famous about the village.
