Rangapeta is a good village, the people are very much hard workers. all the people are lower middle class, middel class and rich families. In the village 99% village people depends on agriculture. they are very inteligents. Rangapeta got THE BEST AND GOOD VILLAGE name from the mandal bank .There is a historical cave is there in this village called mandlakunta gutta on the Shivrathri festival so many rituals performed by the villagers in the lod shiva temple which is in that cave .there is a big pond in the village called "PAALA CHERUVU".

Actually rangapet village is not ruled by the head(SARPANCH) of the villlage. It is ruled by some named people in the village.
