HISTORY/ORIGIN:-About 150/160 years ago,two brothers named "RANGAIAH","RAGHAVULAIAH" came to rangaiahgudem from a place near Hyderabad. Rangaiah occupied 300 acres of land at rangaiahgudem and had shelter over their. Ragavulaiah left to narsimpuram as Rangaiah said the whole land is for his 3 sons 100 acres for each. Later on, as the time passes, on the name of "RANGAIAH" the village so called as "RANGAIAHGUDEM"

TEMPLES:-There was a small "SRI RAMA TEMPLE" at Rangaiahgudem constructed about 30 years ago headed by Ramaiah(son of Kanakaiah). From past days,lots of holly prayers and bajanas were conducted by devotees on a grand scale during srirama navami. 

In 2013, the residents of the village formed a committee, headed byT.Karunakar garu, including Srinivas garu, Venkanna garu, Saidulu garu, Govardan garu, Lingaiah garu, which lead the mission of constructing a new temple near the already existing one to success. The people there contributed pecuniary funds and other material funds as well, towards the construction.This process of building a new temple instigated enthusiasm and integrity among the villagers. People celebrate festivals and other important events at the temple with pomp and joy.
