A good village with Sanskrit Maha Vidylaya, Radhs Krishna Temple, and old monumental buildings of Zamidars. River Yamuna is one of the key tourist point to see and have Mahadev temple Maunibaba Kuti etc ti visit.

Kodar (Kondar) is on the bank of river Yamuna. It has a more than 100 years of old Sanskrit MahaVidyalaya (PG College) founded by Mannu Lal Dwivedi and still running.This Vidyalaya was run up to 2013 by Ram Asare Dwivedi (Mantriji) an student of the same Vidylaya. There is a Radhs Krishna Temple also made by Ram Asare Dwivedi. This village has very rich in traditions and culture. Every year Yagno Pavitra Samskar (Janeu) is organized for all those who are interested to do so. Srimad Bhagvat Katha is organized during Saraswati Puja (Basant Panchmi) and Ramleela and Raas Leela is also organized during the same time.There are so many members of the village are in Army and one of the member N/Sub Brish Bhan Singh was martyrs during terrorist action in North East. This village has a very good volleyball team started by Sri Gayapal Singh, RN Dwivedi, Sukh Nidhan Singh from 1960s till today the team is functioning well. Most of the villagers are depends on agriculture and income is low.
