The the century of 1700 (About 280 to 300 years ago) His highness the King of Bobbili gave the land mass with forest to a Brahman Family of with surname Jonnalagadda, To the known history till 8 generation backwards His greatness Veeraiah, generally known in the above said family as Veeraiah Tata, who has built first home, then some farmers were brought from some nearby villages and started farming and dig the tank for rainwater harvesting for agriculture now call Veerasagaram tank, later second generation expanded the agriculture and dig another tank like wise all the water reservoirs and tanks did by the same family.

Almost all the agriculture water harvesting tanks dig by the same family and the land as now was prepared by the family.

Once the agriculture started additional families has come and joined the village took a shape, with streets and a small school which is we suppose the oldest school in the Burja Mandalam.
