Ganda means the name of a caste knows as gaouda ( gopala)/ milk man and berena means the plough. A milk man was living with his family nearby region and the king of talcher named it on the name of that. It means gopalajami. This village have a High School named as Regional High School, a Shiva temple is near the pond of nua bondha. Dula yatra is the most suspicious festival of this village. Instead of this there is many youth association in this village and every year the youths are working welfare for their villages. The peoples are honest and laborious of this village. Gandaberena is devided in two small Villages , as Puruna Sahi and Nua Sahi. Some of Young educated youths are working in diffrent districts of Odisha & in India.
