Banegaon was under NIZAM STATE (Hydrabad)till action taken by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, earlier it was under Paradh Police Station when Mr. Yashvantrao Patil Padol was the Police Patil of this village, after that police station shifted to Hasnabad due huge distance for Paradh from Banegaon, Mr. Kishanrao Yeshvantrao Patil Padol was the Chief of village as Police Patil.Kishanrao Patil was well known personality in this area, for Ayurvedic medicines such as Dog Bite, snake Bite, he was known in area as a famous freedom fighter. He was master in handeling Weapons - sord, gun, galor, tirkamta. After All of the Above scenario Mr.Rameshwar Bhaurao Patil Padol became the Chief of village in 1998 and till 25 Years he was the Sarpanch. The pond made in the village is all his contribution due to which nearly 300 acres of land has been irrigated and the cultivation and annual profit of the farmers of village had be rising day by day. The pond water is supplied to all the villages of district which are in need of water. He had also done many important works in village such as New primary and pre-primary school, connectivity of roads in the farms of villagers , Nearly 500 houses of the village are connected with the safe drinking tap water and also under his leadership village has got the NIRMAL GRAM PURASKAR AWARD in the year 2011 by the Former president of India Pratibha tai Patil.
