About and History Of Siddantham

Hi,

Siddantham is the village which is very pleasent and peaceful. The temple near by Godavari river are very nice to visit. It is named as siddantham due to the reason the goddess sita has done agni pravesha in that place.

I guess it is not Sita, It is Goddess Vasavi Matha,who was born in Pengonda and sacrificed herself to avoid bloodshed between 102 Vysya Gorthrikas and the lustful king of Rajahmundry  Vishnu Varhana.
