A mid sized village is popular for its biggest pond named as Bees Sagar. It was home for Siberian birds called Sawan who used to visit this pond in the winter. Due to encroachment, the pond shrinked and the birds are comming no more to this village. It has postential to be developed as a tourist spot for its pond, but it got neglected by the people and the burocracy. This village is known for its sugarcane and potato growth. The population consists of may castes. Thakurs in maximum numbers, then Pasis, Lodhs, Mochis, Banias come in the line respectively. A peaceful village, having its own Panchayat, with three hamlets named as Sheevakhera, Bhorwa Khera and Ganuwa Khera. It has government run primary school and one Junior School.
