Bindawal is not in tehsil of bilaryaganj but in the tesil of jiyanpur 8km east of the village .bilariyaganj is block headqwater. prominent personalities are allama shibli nomani,justice sir Iqbal Ahmad,akber Ahmad dumpy, Islam Ahmad, Alam Badi  and wasim ahmad .
The village was established by Thakur Shivraj Singh  who had embraced Islam during the reign of emperor Akber in the year 1566 AD. The Muslim name of Thakur Shivraj Singh Was Choudhary Serajuddin. His grave is located on the west side of the village just besides the road connecting the village from village Khanqah .
