Pipra Beni originate from two Hindi word "Pipra" means पीपल and "Beni" means चोटी. During 18th to 19th century villages full of forest cover and green patches. Villages have unique culture and festival like Gowardhan puja, special Holi. Most of villagers focused on farming and having three session crop of different varieties. A special type of dance culture of village is famous in this region called "Dhobia". There is many unique places for tourist purposes like Vigyan Ashram, Mahatma Gandhi Center for Rural Sustainability, Bapu Kuti which formed by a family from Bangladesh Pandit Kmla Kant Tripathi. "Vigyan Chaupal" is unique event by Vigyan Ashram in which they play different local play and children play the village panchayt event in scientific manner.
