Thatichetlapalam is one of the major lacality in the vizag city. The history of thatichetlapalam is, in 1969-1986 this place is called as thatipeeta which is located and connected to national highway-5 and contains lot of indian palm trees(tatichettlu). The major business is 'kallu' which gives lot of kik like wine. people who are travelling through by this highway, they use to take rest and kallu here. After 1986 in NTR ruling, it converted into thatichetlapalam. Now thatichelaplam have all the facilities. now mostly locality people involved in  as vegetable sellers, auto drivers, daily labors, and few govt. and private sector employees. Thatichetlapalm is famous for the 2nd tallest anjaneeya swamy statue in andhra pradesh. Transportation facilities wide for tatichetlapalm. Its just 1 km from main railway station, 5 km from city airport, 10 km from city sea port. more then 10 schools located in this area for local children. Most of this locality is govt registered and not vuda approved. Its costs around 25000 per square yard.
