This is a very old village. The stone chak is situated in east of village which has some inscription in pally language. Shiomangal singh son of Juthi singh came to this village in 1850 and made many holy places such as Dubebrahm Shansthan.His son Danushdhari singh, grand son Baijnath singh followed his path of village upliftment. The local languagesof entire Kaimur district is Bhojpuri.

The peaple of this village are very progressive and submissive. Rang Bahadur Singh made the residents to understand the importance of approach Road from canal to village from west side and peaple supported him.Road from canal to village from west was made.The Road is now cemented and look of the village has changed. This village is better than Mohania.
