The famous river Rambiara passes through this village. The District Employement office and District forest office is located in this village. Unfortunately there is no bank/Hospital in this village. The people of this village are pious,sympathetic and Freedom loving. The Markazi jamia masjid is located here. The mohallas in Sindoo shirmal are as Palapora,Sheikhpora,Ratherpora,Sindoo,Asthanpora,Doombwani,Chek. The cricket stadium is located at Rambiara. This village is located on National Highway which passes from pulwama to shopian now called mughal road.The village Sindoo Shirmal bears top quality fruits especially Apple,Pear,etc
