Maravanji is a nice place in channagiri Tq.  In this place we can see historical temples. Mainly, shivalingeshwara temple, Benkibasappa temple, Eshwara temple, kariyamma temple. Each temple has its  own history. Here we can see 25 acres water pound,Which is very helpful for villagers. This village have government school, but very less students. Because channagiri is very nearer to this village. So everyone in this village try to send their kids to channagiri convent.
