Pedamallam know as PATAVURU in 18th century,due to flood because of godawari the villge sink in to the river,still we cant found ramalayam in the river,peoples are living at that time they vacant that place and they made temperaray bay for the river and they start to live beside of the bay,after that they divide the villages based on the land/feild(mallam)they divided as two parts pedamallam and chinamallam.
