The oldest person of the villages says when he was a small, the total village was covered by forest and wild animals were living there. Only few families were living that area. Some families relocated to some other place and only 5 families were remaining there. Those 5 families started living there and they say that they had acquired an area of 5 acres in the forest and built their homes.
From there the name of the village is created.
Pancha (Five)+Mana(Acre). So Panchamania means a land of 5 acres.
