OverView Of Sanwari

Sanwari is a very big village its has seven divisons, it is very famous for jarti ma temple and Shiv Mandir. 

According to Folktales, Sanwari was named after a Ramayana Character "Sanwari or Sewri", who was great Devotee of Lord Rama and so She Served Berries to the Lord during his exile. Sanwari is divided into 7 small villages, all of them known with " Sanwari" title. i. e. Sanwari Giri Tola, Sanwari Puri tola comes under Sanwari "Mauje". Mauje is an Urdu word which means Village. After there is Chhotki Sanwari, Badki Sanwari, Bazar Sanwari, Sanwari Boxi jee, Badka Gaanv, Deeh. All the mentioned names are Community Name of the Places. 

Hindu and Muslims both Communities lives here peacefully. Village's Nearest Market is JALALPUR and nearest city is Chapra.
