Ratauli is a beautiful village having brave history. During British rule extension the Zamindar (Village head and Landlord),  Thakur Jogendra Pal Singh was the strongest ruler and carer of several adjacent villages (approx.72 villages). Thakur Jogendra Pal Singh was a very prominent and popular accessor of this Riyasat (Small kingdom). He had a huge army in his possession i.e. 15 war Elephants 298 Horses, more than 1900 pedestrian worriers. Under The Rule of Awagarh Emperorship, who denied British rule submissions. Thakur Jogendra Pal and Raja Awagarh fought 7 wars against British lordship. Another 4 wars he fought on his own separately.
