Before 150 years ago this village was  established. Before 100 years ago people came here and settled.It has a famous ancient temple  named shiva mandir.It is says that shiva linga appeared on that location during digging the land. Thid village situated near the Kurna Nadi.Which flow onwards and meet to Famous Sarju nadi in barhaj.There is a famous very old College named Manas Inter College which is established by a great dedicated personality  Babu Bhagawati singh Ji. 

Fatehpur is a educated and developed village. There is a famous shiv mandir.where automatically shiva linga appeared in that place.It is situated on the bank of kurna river which meets to saryu river in barhaj where God shri Ramchandra left his physicall body.
