Hakura : hakura village is about 10kms away from anantnag. It takes about 20 minutes from anantnag to reach hakura. It is on the way of famous tourist places like kokernag, daksum and sinthan top.

Hakura is well known for its culture.

The well known great islamic saint hazrat malik dawood is also buried here.

The hakura village is one of the oldest villages of anantnag town. It is also a markaz of hanifa jamia masjid, jamit ah-hadis masjid and jamat islami masjid. The village is  well known for its literacy rate which is about 87%.
