Ganpur is oldest village. The main occupation of the villagers are farming and up to some villagers having  goats, buffalo from which they can earn some by selling the milk. There are two temples of different gods i.e  Maruti and Mari Aai ;  Face of God  Maruti is towards the  west sides i.e towards village side and villagers prays the  God Hanuman before living the home or entering the village. The temple is covered by huge Banyan tree and hence villagers uses the shadows of this tress specially in summer.  

Another temple of Mariaai is also oldest temple and may be created since the establishment of village. This temple is constructed with mud and stone and the top is covered by Tins.  Goddess Mariaai along with other sisters are wear the green saree (patal)  and green bangles. There are two big  Neem  tress which gives cool shadows to the devotees of Mariaai. On the day of Poornima which falls in the month of  Chaitra the devotees offered Goats , Cocks to make the happy to this goddess. 
 

In 1975 one of Datta's devotee Shri Shewale , Borkhedi  built a Datta Mandir at Hilside and the people named it  as ' Dattatri Mandir'. Now days  a fair arranged at Dattatri Mandir by the villagers and number of small shops holder belong to nearby cities i.e. from Mehkar, Sultanpur , Lonar and Hirdav  visit the said place to sell their goods and earn . 

One important things is that some of the  teachers of Zilla Parishad Shala under the supervision Shri Gajanan Bharad, Head Master   took  efforts and arranged some funds and started  e learning in the school  with the help of villagers .   

Till date this village does  not having many basic facilities such as Roads, drainages , Toilets, lights etc.
