Gazett of india, Gujarat state, Dist. Surendranagar, Addition1977, page no.76. Village Gala, Taluka Dhrangadhra. The Gala stone-inscription(1)dated v.s. 1193 (1137 A.D.)commence with a reference to the region of Jaysinhadev. It indicates that this region was already under the sway of Siddhraja Jayshinha. The inscription records the erection of a temple of Goddess Bhattarika along with a small Shrine of Vinayaka. The temple is represented by ruined structure on the western bank of the Chandrabhaga river at distance of about 12.8 K.M. from the Dhrangadhra. A large part of the temple is in ruins,on the  while the shrine on the South, contains a  fragmentary image of Vinayaka of Ganesh.

Harpaldev, the jhala Prince, who immigrated to Gujarat and setted in Jhalawad, with Karan Ghelo, the last Vaghela king of Anhilwad Patan(2). But from the date given for the regin of Harpaldev and his successors(3) king of Karan is better identified with KaranSolanki(4), i.e. Karan-1 the father of. Siddhraj Jaysinha. For Kara1, regined from 1064 to 1094 A.D. and  KKaranVaghela from 1296 to 1299 or 1303 A.D.,While the death of Harapal devoccured in about1130(5).The  tradition that Salarsalaji, contemporary of Sultan Ahmad Shah-1 of Gujarat, was the 17th descendant of Harpaldev, corroborates the probability of this date. However,it must be noted that the Gala stone-inscription of Siddhraj Jaysinha dated 1137A.D.place mentioned there in is not far from Patadi  and Dhama,  the successive capital of Harpaldev.
