My village Panamooppanpatti is celebrated for very famous festival in five days. It is celebrate for godess " Manthai bagawathiyamman" and her elder brother, god " nondikaruppanaswamy ". He was hoped for the village people guard of the village and the sorounding the area. In this festival started for month of april (in the tamizh month of 'panguni') moon increase open the week of monday to aturday. In the fiirstday of festival, tuesday evening 8.00 pm whole, people of village the drum played, crakers thundering sound too goes to decarated flowers of amman image that is called' karagam' produced and that is calling to kovil stage. And then women were taking to rice flour mixed and top of various lightening (maavilakku) and growth the small crops of the mulaipaaligai with taken to reached the amman temple. Next day flower pot, tiger dance, clay apply makeup and then women were put off the rice and suger boiling' pongal' to dedicated amman figure. Thatday evening 9:00 pm The world's wonder of the drama in the part of the Mahabaratham that is called" DARUMA NADAGAM" part-1 acting in the village own actores from the kovil infront of the stage. The next day evening 9:00 Darumanadagam part-2 acting in village actores on the stage. The final day evening 9:00 pm Darumanadagam part - 3 acted to the village youthfull actores. The next morning 6:00 am hole actores arround the village every home by home to meet the people praise the amman. Fianaly actores remove their masks, festival closed joyfully. all the vievers welcome to visit this festival once, of the two years. thanking you!
